I made Select Chorus today!

I have news that will make you so happy( it made me happy). 2 days ago my friend wanted to try out for select chorus and she wanted me to come with her and sing. I told her no, but then if I didn't go I will miss out on what it is like in select chorus.I really wanted to be in select chorus but if I did not get in that would really hurt me. Another thing holding me back is singing in front of people. My friend was not scared so she is going to try out. I did want to go so I try out with her thinking there will be five other kids trying out. Man was I wrong, there was about fifteen other kids trying out and I had to sing by my self. So when my friend Katie sang she was great and she sang loud and perfect and she was the first they clapped for. She was so good the music teacher made her sing again. Now I was really nervous, there was no way I would get in with out her. After her was me and I knew if I didn't sing loud I wasn't going to get in so I stood up and opened my mouth to sing. I thought nothing was going to come out but I was wrong (again). I opened my mouth and started to sing,the music teacher was smiling and so was Katie. I was so comfortable with the people that I sang louder and when I was done the kids were cheering .So my teacher said he has bad news, I thought I sang pretty well why is there bad news. He said I have a lot of of people with a no, 2 with a maybe and some with yes. The important thing is I got in and so did Katie so I was happy. I was sad for the people who did not get in but I am pretty sure something good will happen to them.Now that I am in select chorus it meant I was one of the top singers in the school. You can be in chorus if you can't sing well but you have to sing well is you are in select chorus. So as I leave the room I am jumping up so high I did not notice my cousin. So he taps me on the shoulder and says I am trying out too. I hope he gets in because we can see each other in select chorus. Well I hope you like my blog. have a nice day.
